Formulation Methods
There are two methods of least cost feed formulation.
Informal Warnings
Almost all commercial feed formulation software use Linear Programming Method. Mathematically, this method provides only 50% assurance to meet nutrient level in the ration.
Stochastic Formulation
The other method is called Stochastic Programming. This method can raise assurance to meet nutrient level in the ration from 50% to 99.99%.
